A Three-Week
Congregational

Trust 2026

THEME  |  PURPOSE

WEEK 1  |  WEEK 2  |  WEEK 3

“Blessed are those who trust in the Lord,
    whose trust is the Lord.
They shall be like a tree planted by water,
    sending out its roots by the stream.
It shall not fear when heat comes,
    and its leaves shall stay green;
in the year of drought it is not anxious,
    and it does not cease to bear fruit.”
 — Jeremiah 17:7-8

Theme: TRUST

Purpose of the Fast

This fast is not about restriction for restriction’s sake. It is an invitation to trust God more deeply—with our bodies, our habits, our fears, our future, and one another. Each week deepens our focus, moving us from relying on ourselves, to relying on God, to relying on one another.

You are encouraged to choose one fasting option per week that is challenging yet realistic. Grace, flexibility, and health considerations are always honored.
